Manjushri, Krodha Heruka (Tibetan: jam pal ku, trag tung). Black in colour, wrathful, with three faces and six hands, embraced by the consort, atop two prone figures and a lotus supported by a weapon wheel and buffalo he stands surrounded by the red and black flames of pristine awareness. Four wrathful retinue figures stand in the four directions.
"With one vajra face, the union of bliss-emptiness,
Solely consuming the flow of the 10 directions, 3 times, samsara and nirvana,
Killer of the Lord of Death;
Homage to the supreme body, Krodha Manjushri." (Nyingma liturgical verse).
